David Letterman and the Gay Agenda

I am curious as to why David Letterman is vocal in his support of Gay Marriage and against the defence of marriage act. Though I am grateful that he is vocal in his support. My favourite late night clown – my clown only in the warmest and kindest form – was in support of Ellen Degeneres and Anne Heche, remember the family post card skit he did on his show in the 1990s?

I saw his interview with Rachel Maddow and boy was serious. I was uncomfortable – mostly likely shame – but appreciative.

I can’t help but wonder though. I know he said we are all humans. But why is he particularly vocal, why is he so outwardly supportive of the rights of gays and lesbians to marry in the US of A?
