life appreciation
I appreciate my life and the path I am on. I am glad I am not in the shoes of the homeless person by the tube and wish her well. I am happy my friend had a healthy baby and has good friends
How is it I live but cannot appreciate my life and how come I envy with ease the homeless by the tube station, my friend and her child other people and their drama.

Things You'll Need:
· Open mind
· Willingness to forgive
· Attitude of Gratitude
· Ability to recognize or acknowledge things objectively
1. The difference between appreciation and the lack thereof (also known as complaining or ingratitude) is in our attitude. If we want to have more appreciation in our lives, both coming to us for what we have done or just for who we are and in response to the things, circumstances, people, and events that come to us, we must have the proper attitude. Our attitudes are formed by the thoughts we think. Take charge of your thinking, redirect it into more productive and appreciative paths, and your attitudes will shift almost like magic. It may not be easy at first, but if you persist with the goal of becoming a more grateful person, you will find a lot more in your life to be grateful for, no matter what is going on around you. It takes mountains and valleys to create majestic vistas!
Tips & Warnings
Expressing appreciation makes us have better manners - saying "thank you" and "you're welcome" are ways to express appreciation
Keeping a Gratitude or Appreciation Journal may be helpful in recording the things you appreciate so you can review each day's list and see how much is improving in your life
Practice Random Acts of Kindness as a form of appreciation - if you love coffee in the morning, pay for a friend's coffee purchase - or a stranger's!
Spend quality time with your family - even if the hours are short, if you give your undivided attention and unconditional love during those precious moments together, both you and your friends, family, and loved ones will have more to appreciate
Use affirmations to help you develop a more appreciative life; for example, tell yourself, "I appreciate the extra time I have driving to work because I can think about all my blessings" or anytime say, "I am grateful my life is unfolding in perfect order!" Refer to the Resource below, "Create Your Own Affirmations"
Set aside time every day to center yourself; you can use exercise, breathing techniques, or prayer and meditation; refer to the Resource below, "How to Pray" to get started
Learning to appreciate more means giving up grievances - are you ready and willing to do that?
Realize that some relationships, friendships, and other conditions will change in your life when you appreciate more - the bad will fall away and more good will come on in!
