Brushes & natural hair

I

I brushed my hair with a ball-tipped nylon paddle brush.

I conditioner washed with a boar bristle brush

Against all advice

It does things that my wide tooth comb does not like flatten my impossible natural hair.

I imagine it coats the conditioner onto more strands than my fingers can or my wide tooth comb.

And have I mentioned how nice it feels, ‘cos it does.

I study my hair in office bathroom mirror.

I’m convinced it looks less frizzy less dry and soft to the touch.

My aim is length retention.

Don’t laugh I know brushes and retention like salt in your tea.

I dream of the soft natural hair

I aim to get it
