Jinxed

You’re stuck at work and you get a call from neighbours saying there is water coming out of your house.
Of course she is hysterical and wants to know who has keys to your house.
This is London you scream in your head, KEYS TO MY HOUSE?
But you don’t
Smile into the handset and thank her politely.
The day started out quite ordinary, no problems with the alarm caught the train ok and the weather was neither here nor there.
You get into work feeling stable, switch on the PC head over for some coffee and it all begins.
There is a whole jug of coffee you’ve spilt over the office carpet, emails sent out to the wrong people etc. etc.
You keep on going ignore that niggling feeling that today might be jinxed
Step out for some air, notice the miss calls of course!
Well the good news is the water has stopped the bad news is run home and see the damage oh and by the way the bank account is overdrawn!
Does it ever happen to you, you plan out your day and something from nowhere decides to spoil it?
Jinxed day or not, today is my day and I WILL decided how it is going to end
Sod it! Who put that there! Just banged my leg!
Just ignore it. It is just one of those days
