Aye it’s a co-washing tonight

I tried to ignore it
Cos it is cold outside
But my scalp refuses to hear it
Finally I just gave in
With some sublime mix of water and a £1 conditioner
I made funny noises all right
I shivered with cold
Amid a wink from my hair and my scalp in delight
As if to say didn’t you do well last night
In spite of runny noses and teary eyes
Aye it’s a co-washing tonight
I know I will give in
I might take it a step further
Bring out the hair dryer
And give myself a deep condish
I put up my hand and have to confess
A co-wash addict I am
